Over the last few years I’ve hired Wooly Mammoth about a half dozen times for smaller moves—like my daughter’s studio apartment—to much larger moves, including our duplex two bedroom apartment. We have large art and vintage furniture and had to move things some into storage, in addition to our new home. The crew was knowledgeable and considerate about how to carry and pack the items, and would double-check with me to make sure we were on the same page about the strategy of the move. Moving is always super stressful, but the crew always kept things light with humor in addition to being super pro. Most of the crew (including Christian himself) are musicians, and it makes me feel good to support artists during the day so they can pursue their art at night. When moving, Wooly Mammoth will always be my first call!

Christian was really great in helping me set up the move. He was timely with communications and clearly worked to get me the best price possible.
The movers were fantastic-very professional and kind. The worked hard and were absolute pros. They wrapped everything that needed it and were gentle with my stuff. Very sweet people.

My movers just left and I couldn't be more pleased with their service. They were on time, super professional and got everything done in a timely manner. Christian set everything up prior to the move day and he made it all very easy and seamless.
My Brooklyn 3rd floor walk up is no treat to lug my grandparents antique furniture up, but they did it extremely well. All of my items require a little extra care, they are almost all antiques and they were all handled well and thoughtfully.
I do not want to have to move any time time soon, but when I do I will be using their services again.

These guys are awesome. Christian and his crew are very professional. Wrapping everything that needed to be wrapped but not wasting extra time unnecessarily over protecting things. It was a sweltering hot day and I was on a 5th floor walk up; they kept a great attitude the whole day, cheerful, joking around, overall really nice friendly guys. I think that most of them moonlight as musicans so they are very chill.
Another thing is the price, which was amazing. So much less money than average movers, and so much better quality and service than those "man with a van" guys.
